Strong and stable

The Hotdog 3.0 Motorised Slider is very lightweight due to its carbon fibre and makes it easily portable, but is very stable and durable. With its universal Type-C charging port and 2.5mm shutter cable interface, it is compatible for mobile phones, DSLR or video cameras, for example. The 360° finely adjustable ARRI support legs are retractable and have a spherical design which provides more stability. The support legs are easy to adjust to different surfaces such as rocks, grass, on tree stumps or beaches.

The follow focus bar lets you quickly switch between pan, parallax and panoramic shots. This creates more options for camera movement. When used vertically, the slider can support up to 6,5kg, in horizontal position up to 20kg and when used inclined up to 14kg.

The motor

The motor has an ON/OFF Button, stepless control knob, A/B buttons and a 1,3″ LCD display that shows the status of selected assigned parameters. The control knob allows you to adjust the speed and make various selections. The motor is attached to the slider with the screws provided and a belt is attached to the motor and the two ends of the slider with quick connectors. You can also remove the motor and strap and use the slider completely manually. The motor can be paired with certain stabilisers from the DJI series and from the ZHIYUN series all stabilisers. Simultaneous motion settings can be assigned for the slider from the same YC Onion app to get 4-axis motion control.

The perfect control

With the YC Onion YC RS2 Interlink Module, you can also control the DJI RS 2 stabilizer on your YC Onion Hot Dog 3.0 slider with your smartphone. You have perfect control over your photo and video recordings. The Interlink Module automatically turns on when you turn on the gimbal. An LED indicator lights up white when the module is switched on and blue once the module is paired with the app. Note: This module is only compatible with DJI RS2 and DJI RS3 Pro.

App control

The App control allows you to switch instantly between the two modes, timelapse mode or video mode. Using the APP makes it easier to avoid mistakes you make by hand. It can improve your shooting efficiency of video and timelapse shots, but the engine also has buttons that allow you to set this manually.

Extend your battery life

The YC Onion YC RS2 Power Supply Module replaces the battery cartridge that comes with your gimbal and extends your battery life. The base features two 1/4″-holes and a single 3/8″-hole, making it easy to mount your gimbal on a standard cine support system.
